Ken Reeson, AICA

President

President of Monument Builders of North America. A third-generation memorialist, Ken Reeson has over 35 years of monument industry experience. Ken represents Summit as a member of the American Institute of Commemorative Art (AICA), was previously President of the Alberta Association of Memorial Craftsmen and has also served the Monument Builders of North America (MBNA) as a Trustee, Vice-President and President. Ken founded Summit Memorials in 2005.

Brad Marshall

Business Development Manager

After an 18 year career as a funeral director, Brad Marshall’s interest in monuments led him to the monument profession in 2012. He joined Summit in January of 2014 as Business Development Manager for the province of Saskatchewan based out of Summit’s Saskatoon office. Outside of the office, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife – Raylene Marshall, and 4 boys: Nathan (23), Connor (21), Dylan (19), Nash (16) and a dog (Sadie Anne).

Charlene Sigmeth

Memorial Counsellor

Charlene Sigmeth has a passion for helping people select the right monument for their loved one. Her 25 plus years of experience in the monument profession gives families peace of mind in knowing they are dealing with an experienced professional. Outside of the office, Charlene enjoys spending time with friends & family, travelling, music, fashion and hockey.

Randi Stroh

Stencil Applicator

Randi joined the Summit team in the spring of 2021 as a Stencil Applicator. As well, she sets up and runs our diamond etching machine. Outside of work she likes to spend time with friends and family or watch movies. When she is not doing that, you can find her with her nose in a book.

Sabrina Vos

Sabrina joined the Summit team in July of 2014 as a Stencil Applicator. From there she moved into the office as receptionist and has since moved onto other responsibilities at the company as well as assisting wherever it is needed in the office and the shop.

Cory Mitchell

Sandblaster

Cory joined the Summit team as Load Assembler. Since then he has moved over to training people and a sandblaster. A sandblaster is a technician who uses a high-pressure hose and and abrasive sand mixture to expertly & delicately carve lettering and designs into granite. Cory always seems to have a smile on his face and his enthusiasm for the job is infectious to other members of the Summit team. When he’s not busy blasting, he enjoys the outdoors and hanging out with friends.

Brandon Enders

In-cemetery Technician

Brandon joined Summit in the winter of 2021 as an in-cemetery technician and monument installer. Since then, he has proven to be a strong asset to the team and has learned the job quickly. Outside of work Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and doing outdoor activities.

Christina Grudenic-Simpson

Christina joined the Summit team in the spring of 2021 as our receptionist. On top of her reception duties, she also takes care of processing incoming orders. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and going on adventures. She loves the calming atmosphere of the mountains and enjoys music, writing poetry, making people laugh and being a listening ear. She likes taking every day one day at a time as everyday is a blessing.

Mackenzie Wagner

Production Scheduler

Mackenzie is a fourth generation memorialist. After working with Summit Memorials part-time for a few years she has now joined the team as a full time employee. Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her sons Oakley and Odin. Staying active at the gym and finding a good couponing deal.

In-cemetery Technician

John joined Summit in the summer of 2019 as an in-cemetery technician and monument installer. He enjoys his work and always tries to improve his skills so that families receive the most professional work possible. Outside of work he loves spending time with his family and doing lots of outdoor activities. His favorite person in life is his daughter.

Venice Harrington

Rendering Artist

Venice Harrington joined our team as a Layout Artist in January of 2009. She enjoys cycling and tries to ride her bike year-round, participating in charity rides and loves to do creative projects using various mediums. Animals hold a special place in her heart, especially her cat, Frodo.
